Two Pieces of North Carolina Stoneware, 19th century, a four-gallon salt-glazed churn, stamped "4", Upper Moore County or Lower Randolph County, NC origin, possibly J.B. Coles, circa 1899; paired with a five-gallon open-handled jug with alkaline glaze, impressed "5", Catawba Valley, NC origin. Churn with rim chips and two hairlines in collar. Jug with restoration to handles, otherwise excellent condition. H (of churn) 17 3/4".
