Two-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1870, ovoid pitcher with footed base and flared collar with tooled rim, decorated with two fan-shaped flowers and a leaf extending around the body. Cobalt swag decoration to rim and collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Chips to spout. A faint 2 1/4" vertical hairline on left side of spout. A small rim chip.
