Rare Rockingham-Glazed Fire Engine Pitcher, attributed to Abraham Cadmus, South Amboy, NJ, mid 19th century, with hound handle, featuring a relief design of firemen with fire engine around the body and a grape vine motif around the collar. Surface covering an appealing mottled, reddish-brown glaze with lighter, orange-colored areas throughout. This pitcher is finest-glazed of three Cadmus examples we have ever offered.
