Shenandoah Valley Multi-Glazed Redware Flowerpot, attributed to J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, tapered pot with coggled embellishments and attached saucer, the surface decorated with splashed copper and manganese over cream-colored slip and covered in clear lead glaze. Relatively few Shenandoah Valley flowerpots have survived in exemplary condition. This piece is one of the finest conditioned and glazed examples we have ever offered. Excellent condition with some extremely minor wear to rim area, some scratches to glaze, and a 2 1/2" line from rim on interior, only partially visible on exterior. H 8 1/4".
