Five Pieces of Redware, American, 19th and 20th centuries, a Shenandoah Valley multi-glazed redware jar, stamped "S. BELL & SON / STRASBURG"; a large flowerpot with splashed manganese decoration, Pennsylvania origin; a second, smaller flowerpot with splashed manganese decoration, stamped "Willoughby Smith / Womelsdorf", Berks County, PA origin, circa 1880; a blue-glazed flowerpot, marked "Colonial Art Pottery / Gleaves", circa 1935; and a miniature lead-glazed flowerpot with manganese dip around top. S. Bell & Son jar with significant network of cracks extending from rim to shoulder, surface crazing throughout, exfoliation, and chips. Large-sized redware flowerpot with heavy wear to rim and flakes to shoulder and body, much of which has been colored. Willoughby Smith flowerpot with chips to base and rim, with restoration to much of the chipping on the rim. Gleaves flowerpot with minor rim chips. Miniature flowerpot with rim and base chips.
