Fine Two-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar, attributed to Dave at Lewis Miles' Stoney Bluff Manufactory, Edgefield District, SC, circa 1860, squat-shaped, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and crescent-shaped handles, the surface covered in a glossy brown alkaline glaze. Very nice condition with a few rim chips and small surface flake to side of jar. H 10 3/4".
