Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped WHITES UTICA", New York State origin, circa 1865, cylindrical jug with squared spout, decorated with a boldly-brushed flowering plant design featuring large blossoms and scrolled leaves. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Restoration to surface, not affecting decoration. Varnish to surface.
