One-Gallon Shenandoah Valley Stoneware Jar, Stamped "BELL", Virginia origin, 19th century, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, the surface covered in a heavy salt glaze. Shoulder impressed with a faint, large-sized "BELL" maker's mark beside a one-gallon capacity mark.
