One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a brushed design of a two-stemmed clover plant. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals with curved cobalt line below. Small rim chips. A 1" in-the-firing base chip.
