Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "R.T. WILLIAMS. / MANUFACTURER. / NEW GENEVA. / PA", circa 1885, ovoid jar with flattened rim, featuring R.T. Williams maker's stenciling, freehand stripes, and a cobalt script "2" with dashes at the base. Excellent condition with some dryness to left side of decoration and a minor nick with 1 1/2" surface line extending through it along top of rim. Jar is slightly out-of-round.
