Small-Sized Stoneware Wax Sealer with Stenciled Cobalt Cherries Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and pronounced rim with wax sealer interior, the front decorated with a stenciled design of three cherries hanging from a leafy stem. Small chips and wear to interior of rim. Chips and wear to inner wax sealer rim, the largest chip measuring 7/8". Two minuscule nicks to shoulder molding. H 6 7/8".
