Redware Bowl with Profuse Two-Color Slip Decoration, Mid-Atlantic origin, possibly Hagerstown, MD, early to mid 19th century, tapered bowl with rounded rim, decorated on the interior and rim with alternating trails of manganese and cream-colored slip. Excellent decoration and color. Approximately 7" x 3" reglued section to bowl, with partial coloring along crack line. This damage is adjacent to a 2" restored section to top of rim. A 2" x 1 1/8" restored surface flake to exterior. A 1 1/2" area of restoration to surface of rim on exterior. Typical light wear to interior. H 2 7/8" ; Diameter 9".
