Rare and Fine One-Gallon Stoneware Cream Jar with Cobalt Star Decoration, attributed to the John Zigler Pottery, Timberville, VA, circa 1835, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated around the shoulder with five halved stars in the Timberville style. Good color and exceptional condition. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
