Two One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Virginia Stoneware Jars, both of similar cylindrical form, one with cobalt swag decoration over slip wash, stamped "S. BELL & SON / STRASBURG" and made by Samuel Bell and Son in Strasburg, VA; the other with cobalt swag decoration, attributed to David Parr, Jr., Richmond, VA. Bell jar with iron ping to base, small rim chips, and a 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" chip on interior of rim. Parr jar with a small rim chip and some very minor rim nicks.
