Glazed Redware Cake Mold, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'", PA origin, circa 1850-1880, with turk's head form, the surface decorated with heavy manganese sponging over a mottled olive-and-orange ground and covered in a clear lead glaze. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark at shoulder. A 2 1/2" inverted Y-shaped hairline from rim. Typical light wear to tip of central tube. Other very minor surface wear. H (to top of central tube) 3 7/8" ; Diameter (across top) 7 1/4".
