Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "MOORE, NICHOLS & CO. / Williamsport, Pa.", circa 1880, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed split-stemmed tulip plant. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a 1" iron ping near base on reverse.
