One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA", circa 1865, ovoid pitcher with tooled body and semi-squared rim, decorated with a large brushed tulip extending across the front and a leaf running vertically along the spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Reglued 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" piece at right side of spout. A 4" vertical hairline at base on reverse, continuing 2" onto underside.
