Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "J.C. WAELDE / NORTH BAY", New York State origin, circa 1860, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed design of two striped tulips emanating from a central stem. Slip-trailed number 2 above. Brushed cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
