Glazed Redware Flowerpot, Stamped "JOHN BELL", Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1840-1880, tapered pot with rounded rim and attached saucer, the surface decorated with streaks of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark on underside. A hairline crack from rim, very difficult to see. A small chip and minor nick to rim of saucer. Typical residue to interior of pot and interior of saucer. Some typical wear and white residue to underside. H 5 1/4".
