Two Glazed Redware Jars, Northeastern U.S. origin, second or third quarter 19th century, an ovoid jar with applied lug handles, featuring daubed manganese and a clear lead glaze, Norwalk, CT or Huntington, New York origin; paired with an ovoid jar with tall collar, featuring splashed manganese and a clear lead glaze. Taller jar with chips and wear to rim, light wear to one handle, some light surface wear, and a chipped section to foot. Other jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of taller jar) 8 1/4".
