Scarce Glazed Redware Cup, Maine origin, circa 1820-1840, thin-walled, ovoid cup with footed base, flared rim, and applied handle, decorated with splashed manganese and a light, cream-colored glaze over a salmon-colored ground with clear lead overglaze. Desirable color and form. Wear and numerous shallow chips to rim. H 2 7/8".
