Rare One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "LEWIS & GARDINER / HUNTINGTON. L I", circa 1827-1829, highly ovoid jug with tooled spout, decorated with a stylized floral design. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and handle terminals. Excellent condition with minor chipping to base.
