Half-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, third quarter 19th century, cylindrical form with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt design of a double-stemmed tulip plant. Unusual size. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. Very nice condition with a rim chip on reverse and a short faint line above one handle. H 6".
