Rare One-Gallon Stoneware Syrup Jug with Trenton, NJ Advertising, Stamped "CASE'S PURE CIDER VINEGAR, / CLOVER HILL, / HUNTERDON CO., N.J.", attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, circa 1900, squat-shaped jug with pinched pouring spout and Bristol-slip-glazed surface, the front featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising "Drake & McIvaine, / Grocers, / Trenton, N.J.". Base impressed with Case's Pure Cider Vinegar advertising. Desirable form. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some dryness to glaze at base.
