Rare Miniature Stoneware Script Jug, Inscribed "J.P. Conklin", Northeastern U.S. origin, second half 19th century, squat-shaped jug with semi-squared spout, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt name "S.P. Conklin". Incised at base "A/2" (?). Exceptional size. Handle broken into pieces and reglued. Entire spout broken off in one piece and reglued. A shallow in-the-firing base chip. H 4".
