Scarce Stoneware Flask with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Eastern U.S. origin, circa 1820-1830, flattened form with heavily-tooled spout, decorated on the front with a stylized floral design featuring a blossom emanating from a curved stem with leaves. Brushed cobalt highlight surrounding spout. Approximately 1 1/4" x 3/8" restored chip to spout on reverse. A small glazed-over chip to spout on front. A very tight 1 3/8" line at base on reverse. H 7 1/2".
