Two Poughkeepsie, NY Stoneware Jars, 19th century, a rare one-gallon jar with cobalt foliate decoration, stamped "W. REYNOLDS / PO'KEEPSIE", circa 1830, paired with a two-gallon jar with abstract slip-trailed line decoration, stamped "JACOB CAIRE / POKEEPSIE NY", circa 1845. Reverse of Reynolds jar broken and reglued, with heavy chipping to rim and shallow chipping around base. Caire jar with top-to-bottom Y-shaped crack on front, continuing across underside, as well as two chips to right handle.
