Unusual One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Bowery, NY Advertising, New York State or New York City origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jug with tapered spout, featuring the cobalt inscription "Steinhardt Bro + Co. / Bowery / N.Y.". Brushed cobalt band below spout. A shallow base chip. A nick to bottom edge of spout and minor wear to spout.
