Anna Pottery Salt-Glazed Stoneware Pig Flask, Inscribed "Good Old Rye in", Wallace and Cornwall Kirkpatrick, Anna, IL, circa 1865, molded in the form of a reclining pig with hole at rear, incised details to face and hooves, and anatomically-correct underside, the body of the pig incised "Good Old Rye in -" with a line pointing at the pig's rear. An earlier form of pig bottle, produced by the Kirkpatricks circa 1865. Two in-the-firing contact marks to top of pig. Loss to one ear. Short crack to opposite ear. L 7 1/2".
