One-Gallon Stoneware Cake Crock with Cobalt Leaf Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, cylindrical crock with semi-squared rim and applied tab handles, decorated with a brushed leaf on the front and reverse. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Heavy chipping to rim. A 3" crack from rim. A loss to one handle.
