Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "ENEIX & FRANKENBERRY / NEW GENEVA. / PA.", circa 1876-1878, tapered form with tooled shoulder and rounded wax sealer rim, the front featuring large-sized stenciling for the partnership of James Eneix and Alpheus Frankenberry. A few minor chips to inner wax sealer rim. Piece of clay adhered to base. Salt drip at base on revere. A short, minor line on underside. H 8 1/2".
