Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and wax sealer rim, decorated with three boldly-brushed cobalt stripes on the front. This jar features exceptional color and is possibly the best three-stripe canning jar we have ever offered. Numerous small chips to interior of rim and inner wax sealer rim. One additional 5/8" chip to inner wax sealer rim. H 6 1/4".
