Six-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT. / GREENSBORO. / PA", circa 1880, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, featuring T.F. Reppert maker's stenciling and decorated at the center with an abstract stenciled design and a freehand "6" flanked by stenciled flourishes. Brushed freehand stripes at shoulder and base. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some light water glass staining to front.
