Small-Sized Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Floral Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a finely-stenciled design of a flowering plant. Large area of in-the-firing flakes to top of rim, including a chip and minor flake to interior of rim. H 7 3/4".
