Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Cobalt Floral Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a crisply-stenciled design of a stylized flower blossom with elaborate border and flourishes at each corner. Brushed cobalt stripe below rim. Excellent condition with a chip on interior of rim. H 7 3/4".
