Scarce Half-Gallon Stoneware Cobalt Script "Choice Butter" Bowl, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, New Jersey, fourth quarter 19th century, tapered, salt-glazed bowl with semi-rounded rim, featuring the cobalt script advertising "Geo. H. Burroughs, / Choice Butter". Desirable form and subject matter. Excellent condition with two small rim chips and a 1" salt drip at rim on reverse. H 4" ; Diameter 7 7/8".
