Six-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Bird Decoration, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, late 19th century, cylindrical jar with rounder shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird perched on a leafy stem. 2" chip to side of rim. Numerous small chips to interior of rim. Some small, in-the-firing iron pings to surface, which are glazed over. Some light staining.
