Fine Glazed Redware Jar, Stamped "I. BELL," John Bell, Waynesboro, PA, circa 1840, elegantly-potted, ovoid jar with footed base, and coved rim molding, the surface covered in a dark-brown lead-and-manganese glaze. A small base chip. A 3/4" rim chip. Some surface wear around midsection. A very faint 2" hairline from rim on front. Stacker marks on top of rim. H 8 1/2".
