Glazed Redware Trivet, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, resting on three feet, the top with relief decoration of a spread-winged eagle surrounded by urns brimming with flowers and grape clusters. Surface decorated with sponged manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Wear to top surface. Some chips to bottom edge. A 7/8" glaze flake to underside. H 1 1/2" ; Diameter 7 1/4".
