Two Pieces of Utilitarian Pottery, American and German origin, 19th century, a Westerwald pitcher with elaborate incised floral decoration culminating in a heart, inscribed "GH", paired with an American lead-glazed redware jar, incised "63" on underside. Pitcher in excellent condition with a faint 2" hairline to shoulder. Jar in excellent condition with typical rim wear. H (of pitcher) 8 1/2".
