Westerwald Stoneware Mug with Applied Urn Decoration, circa 1700, highly-ovoid form with footed base, heavily-tooled collar, and scrolled handle, the body covered in cobalt slip and decorated with molded and applied designs of an open-handled urn holding a fern. Restored handle. Otherwise excellent condition. H 6 1/2".
