One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "L LEHMAN & CO. / WEST 12 ST. N Y", circa 1860, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed tulip motif above a cobalt script "1 1/2". Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some discoloration to surface.
