Two Pieces of Northeastern U.S. Stoneware, second half 19th century, a one-and-a-half-gallon jar with slip-trailed floral decoration, stamped "J. & E. NORTON / BENNINGTON VT", paired with a two-gallon jug with slip-trailed spotted daisy decoration, stamped "C. HART. / SHERBURNE". Norton jar with heavy exfoliation to right side and reverse, a Y-shaped crack at base, chips to inner rim, a few minor base chips, and some staining. Hart jug with staining and a small spout chip.
