Unusual Ovoid Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Wavy Line Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1815, approximately, one-gallon, ovoid jar with heavily-tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a slip-trailed wavy lined design around the shoulder. Albany-slip-glazed interior, including some drips to shoulder. A 1 3/8" base chip. A few other very minor base chips. A few firing flaws, including a 3/4" iron ping to shoulder.
