Fine Redware Plate with Impressed Yellow-Slip Decoration, Huntington, Long Island, New York origin, circa 1807-1860, with coggled edge, the interior decorated in yellow slip with an elaborate impressed design resembling a flower blossom. One of the finer motifs found on Huntington, Long Island redware. Small edge chips. Faint, approximately 3 1/2" hairline from edge. Interior survives in remarkable condition with a few extremely minor surface scratches. Diameter 10".
