Five Utilitarian Stoneware Vessels, 19th century, two salt-glazed bottles, one Greenwich, NY example with "W. SMITH / PATENT PRESSED" stamp at base, also impressed "D.L. ORMSBY / 1849" within a star at shoulder, the other stamped "EATON & LONGLEY"; two salt-glazed inkwells, English or American; and a Bristol-slip-glazed flowerpot with cobalt decoration. Smith bottle with base chips, including one over maker's mark, and large cracks at base. Other bottle with two in-the-firing contact marks, in otherwise excellent condition. Chips to spout of one inkwell. Other inkwell in excellent condition. Flowerpot with fry to surface and a large inverted Y-shaped crack from rim.
