Two Stoneware Jugs with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, second half 19th century, a two-gallon jug with brushed and slip-trailed cobalt paddletailed bird design, stamped "N.A. WHITE & SON / UTICA, N.Y.," paired with a one-gallon unsigned jug with brushed and slip-trailed design of a bird accented with dashes. Two-gallon jug broken into pieces with poor restoration, including poorly-restored handle. One-gallon jug with reglued spout, a broken and reglued handle with loss to lower terminal, and a minor spout nick.
