Three Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crocks, Northeastern U.S. origin, second half 19th century, a one-gallon crock with cobalt bird decoration, stamped "BRADY & RYAN / ELLENVILLE, N.Y."; a two-gallon crock with cobalt leaf decoration, stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO. / WORCESTER, MASS."; and a one-gallon unsigned crock with cobalt leaf decoration. Brady & Ryan crock with staining, hairlines, and exfoliation at base. Norton crock missing one handle with significant exfoliation. Unsigned crock with a large loss to rim, staining, and a hairline to reverse.
