Six-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Churn, Stenciled "DONAGHHO CO. / PARKERSBURG, W.V.," late 19th century, cylindrical churn with flared collar and applied lug handles, featuring "DONAGHHO CO." maker's stenciling below a stenciled "6" flanked by dotted triangular embellishments. Approximately 7 1/2" curved crack in collar on reverse. Large Y-shaped crack at base on front, continuing onto underside. A shallow chip to interior of rim and typical wear on interior where a lid would rest. A salt drip and some minor clay residue at base on side / reverse of churn. Some surface wear and spots of light whitish residue to surface.
