Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cake Crock, Stenciled "A.P. DONAGHHO, / PARKERSBURG, W. VA.," circa 1880, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring large, bold-faced maker's stenciling of A.P. Donaghho. Good form and strong stenciling. Group of thin crack extending approximately 5" down front of crock. 3" inverted Y-shaped surface line on side of crock. A long faint hairline running across underside. Some staining.
